I Was Walking Home Slowly From Shul

I was walking home slowly from Shul
In the early morning calm
Hoping I would with a poem
Restore my faith in myself
But I understood
I am already too old
And with too many problems and worries
And my faith in myself cannot be completely restored
The calm the morning the beauty
That special scent from an unnamed tree
It is not enough
Wherever I walk now
It will be
Only a partially happy me
