Ill Fated Cities
Ill fated cities
by Hasmukh Amathalal
In moment of seconds
Two beautiful cities just became tale
Whatever may be the cause, the humanity failed
No one had ever thought
The war was never fought
On this imagery war weapon
It was hell brought on
Who knows how many perished?
But they were tiny cities and thousands probably
No time was taken for their slaughter
What are we today after?
Give China whole of world?
Let it be sold
For economic growth
At the cost of avoidance of deaths
Why not some hundreds be picked from their bed?
Why they be not hanged?
So the innocent can sleep
With the bailey half filled or fully kept
Hitler has gone, Mussolini too disappeared
Countless dictators took over reign and were disgraced
But if you take my advice and promise
It was one man's lust but now we have vultures
How many are killed daily?
Either by terrorists or nature really
Someone is fallen by stray bullets
And someone by ill fate
