We are separated by age and continents.
If our paths had crossed we might have found
beyond variance an Oz of mental ground
to be companions in, or even freinds.
Que sera sera. I was just trying to meet
someone attractive. You doubted my intent,
became hostile. The times we might have spent
in laughing converse turned to flames and heat.
So this is how, sadly, our brief world ends:
