Immortal

Poem By Richard Shinn

Love, hate All feelings and emotions
Dreams, fate nothing more then notions
The World is nothing more then we admit
What we feel, think, that’s reality’s wit
We are all just different stories with one ending
What carries on are stories worth lending
What we do in life, what we endeavor
What we do in life can carry on forever
And when it all ends there might be more
But there is one thing I know for sure
The ones you love, who make life worth living
We become memories to all those forgiving
Whether one or a hundred cherish them all
For they are all that is real, how we live on
And though the thoughts might cause a chortle
Death’s not the end we become immortal

River's Time

Sitting by the river, watching time flow
Thinkin ‘bout the past and how to let go
I need to forget, need to move on
Before its too late to realize you’re gone

Endless Sorrow

You are the Rose I became the weed
I would never want to see you bleed
But I never even closed my eyes
Even when I saw you cry
