In A Crash

Caught in a moment
Falling so fast
Air breaking through
It’s only broken glass
Feeling the wind pick up
The car is about to break
Fall off a cliff
It’s just too late
Air rushing through the windows
I can barley see
My mind wandering
Past moments creeping
Faces of horror
And I can hear the screams
Confronting death isn’t how it should be
You can’t seem to say what you mean
Only pain comes from your lips
Its just fear
Because indeed the end is near
And now you wake
But, it’s the other side
Dying doesn’t hurt much
You just feel the pain when you’re alive.

Very interesting piece. ' Dying doesn’t hurt much You just feel the pain when you’re alive.' Thoughtful and creative phrase...and something I have never thought about before.
