In Rememberance Of A Teacher

Leaves refusing to dance
To Oscar Lopez's rythm divine
Life refusing to move on
Under Time's commanding eye
Void inside us seemingly seeking ground
Death within us earning paramount
Eyes refusing to water
Heart refusing to wail
Oh Life! Why won't you move on?
Mother Nature, is this your way?
To snatch, steal and take away
Something that is dear and loved by all
Why, oh why do you have to take them?
Who service, love and give you their all
Yet leaving those who don't care for your fall
I do not understand you
I do not pray for you for you are wrong
Mother Nature, shower me with immortality
For I do not care for your fall
