In The Crowd.

You watch her motions
her ghostly figure
moving through the crowd,
she doesn't notice the people around her
she doesn't exist in their minds.

You can see her moving
but she doesn't comprehend
the way she walks through the crowd,
lifeless, like she's almost saying
don't notice me- not now.

You can see her looking at you
and wonder what you see.
Do you see a girl in need
or someone calling out silently?

Her eyes are empty,
hollow and sad,
looking in the mirror
I continue to walk through the crowd.

Not knowing where I'm going
i carry on this way,
leading the path of destruction
it's forever going to be this way.
