In The Unending Time Of Retired Old Age

In the unending time
Of retired old age
One makes an effort
To have things to do-

Tasks once considered
An irritating waste of time
Are now looked forward to and enjoyed-

There is nothing really new to be done
And one carries one's own uselessness everywhere -
But one tries and must try to be busy
Even if the truth of one's own uselessness
Never really stops to pain-

We must see ourselves in old age positively. Negativity is a load one should not bare.
