In The Window Pane

Hey there staring at me
Through the other side of this window pane
Why do you an I look the same
Mary Jane is my name

Why does it seem
On the other side of this window pane
Everything, it looks the same
Is this a reflection, I see

When we have laughter, what matters-
Everyone can be the same
As long as we're happy- Laughing
Kids like to make up fun games

A reflection can be
A new friend and so much more
A way to pass the time away
Pretending, happy are we

Can you listen? (Listen)
The grownups staring, they see
All of them laughing- And happy
Can they all be laughing at me

What do I care
I'm just a face in the window pane
Playing here on a rainy day
Staying happy with, Me
