In Your Hands

Poem By Ivona Sophia

In your hands
I am silk
Under the smooth stitch of fingers
I fold willingly.

I am water
The dew on your skin
Tracing a scent
Soothing you with coolness.

I am a cat
Arching under every word
And the brush of your lips.

A rose without thorns
The scent of passion
Beguiled into the soft
Curve of your shoulder.

I am your curse
Your dream
I am you.

Rain

it continuously rains

you sleep
your breath calms the shadows

Everywhere In The World

everywhere in the world there are motels
with empty parking lots
waiting for couples
temporarily in love

Desire

the walls musty from humidity,
a dreary day
dusk pushes itself
under our clothes

Parting

your hands
clenched into fists
ten fingers
on which there still lie

Wild Strawberries

Wild strawberries
String together
On the long grass
Smell like a summer day
