Innocent Rebellion

Poem By Alvina Black

When rough seas are still,
Silenced as if to kill,
Both become strangers,
Entering areas of dangers,

When control is out the door,
Pool of tears on the floor,
This beast you can’t tame,
Who is in more pain?

Why spend hurtful words,
That slowly murders mockingbirds,
Painful memories, should be a lost case,
With no path, without a trace.
