Insomnia Activities

Poem By Steven Adelman

Well the books open
the clock comes running in
One white dusty moth wakens; attached to the sidewall
He takes flight across the room unknown to my soft intentions
& landing quietly with in the shadow an of 8 inch buddha statue
he observes for a future journey.

WE MUSTN'T IGNORE THE MUSE

Diving into the Fall

The Darkness surrounds
and bites down
when my eyes close

Words die as they leave my throat

A little loopy on tobaccy
my nose smells funny breath from across the room
Invisible, soon I'll be underground
living in the memories of people on earth

Every night
I hear the dogs
howl & lonely locomotives whistlin'
The skies

A Walk In New York

It is 4: 40 in New York

These 7 days just started
& already my mad mind at work

As For The Leaves

As for the leaves
they have only one fate
They are born to die

Occupancy In Infinity

Occupancy in infinity
The ant on my ass-
What sushi could I buy
For just 10 dollars?
