Intruders

Poem By Bet Ward

Far away through stars at night,
They come to earth on ships of light.
They touch us with their spirit wand,
and float us to their world beyond.
They lie to us and make us feel,
that this illusion can't be real.
Our privacy they oft' neglect,
Intruding when we least expect.
And so we wonder when we wake,
if our own souls are theirs to take.
