It's Written On The Wall

Poem By Andrew Hussey

This touch is consecrated,
it's sewn from a spleens sigh to the heart
a black conscription of your construction of me

I've seen your avatars crippling the tormented
your physical manifestations of pain, joy, hatred
all cemented in the form we see now
the form that takes us back
and wraps us completely

I don't remember offering up this power,
falling prey to the traps that love demands
the chains that constrict me so completely,
they sear through and give agony a pulse

So here I stay caged in these bonds,
linked with the earth and my heart
one wouldn't think it hard to escape
when the earth is this soft

When the cradle of midnight settles in these bones
and the night envelops,
untilizes us to it's whims

Put it in again,
this embryonic plague
calls me home and leaves me breathless

Colors Of Spring

I feel like I can't draw
this sun through the eye of a needle.

Midsummer Day

Luminescent eyes peer eerily from above,
Oh, if this world-wearied flesh could speak
What tales you would hear.
From the blissful ecstasy of a midsummer day

The Bi-Leveled Deceit

This is of two levels,
That, on which land-bound fish tread,
And the other on which truth seeking eagles

A garden of macabre delights,
through a window pane found looking
a young man pricks his eye.
