Now I Saw A Stream Flowing

Now I saw a stream flowing;
Now neither bank nor bridge was seen.
Now I saw a bush in bloom;
Now neither rose nor thorn was seen.

Edna Smith is my mother. I was privileged to be privy to her poetry, sometimes in the making, all these years. As she is not able to access your comments by email, I will forward any comments to her. As her daughter I have always loved her sincerity and depth in her poetry. I am glad she has used her gift to brighten the world and the lives of those who read her words. Eva Smith Shaw
