Sea Fever

Poem By John Masefield

Always told
to hold it in –
so actions bold
are where we begin

to buy back the soul,
once sold in haste
for dreams of gold
(in truth of paste) .

The jewel on high,
no carbon lie,
a living thing,
a truth we die

and a truth we live
and in between,
a true existence
we constantly free.
