Just A Soldier

I am a soldier.
Just a soldier, and don’t ask me
What’s the sense
In living.

I’ve never come to know it
For myself.

I am a soldier,
Just a soldier on my path
Of war and killing.
Beyond forgiving
And beyond
Contempt.

Carte blanche
As long as Fate commands;
No strings attached
And no amenability.

A puppet with a knife.
Not knowing is so sweet.
What vility.

i agree with abby, do not insult a person before you have walked a mile in their boots, because then you will have seen a small section of what it means to be 'just a soldier'
what gives you the right to comment on this... there is no passion or real life here just a topic you know nothing about.....ab

I don't understand 'vility'. Is it a neologism for vileness?
