Just Believe

Strip me of my jewels, my clothes, and my name
For these do not make me,
I am my soul, my heart, and my brain.

Take away my cars, my home, and my land
I have no fears,
For I know the powers of the Lord are grand.

He will never abandon me,
Somethings are just part of destiny.
After darkness comes light,
Just believe in God and you will be alright

A lovely devotional poem written with spiritual insight. FAITH KEEPS THOSE THAT KEEP THE FAITH - Mother Teresa. I like the articulation of the piece as it captured your believe in God and your total submission to HIS WILL. Kudos Felicia! Full marks for the poem.

i guess a God-fearing, or should i say God-loving, God-trusting (or all of those) person might still be interested in Sheila And Clifford. here is a comment i just left there. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - i have written 3 new chapters after chapter 5. the public (well at least two of you) are calling out for MORE. sheila and clifford's 'relationship' will expand. but, due to some steamy content, i shall submit the new chapters as a new poem entitled More Sheila And Clifford. bon appetite! bri :) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - i have not typed the next three chapters yet, though they ARE written and a ninth chapter is begun. =============================== your poem is well-composed and i like the rhyming and flow. do you have diamonds? what kind of car? i WILL suggest breaking somethings into some things. thanks for sharing, felicia. bri :)
