Just Once Again

Poem By Sofia Moreno

My verses, like once ago
Do not speak of beauty
Nor hope, nor love
I look at my hand
The pen in that hand
And I can't understand
These thoughts I write
Shapeless, Lifeless
Until my fingers casts them
Unto the paper, for ever
To make me wonder:
How can I think this?
How can I feel this?
I wonder in silence
Not thinking, just writing...

Oh, sweet words of mine,
Where have you gone?
Dear ink, why just this?

I pray silently, under these
verses, that someday
Once again, like once ago
I can speak of beauty,
Of hope, of love.

Change The World

I wonder why I get so sad
I just can't understand
It's not the end of the world
Just transitory pain of my world

Blessing Or Curse?

Oh dear me! Oh dear me!
The stars are becoming dark!
The night is turning red!
The sadness that hunts my heart

I look around me,
People talk and laugh,
they are unaware...
But still I remember,

You Taught Me-

You taught me how to laugh,
You taught me how to cry,
You taught me how to shout,
Don't want to be like that.

Do You?

Your words hurt my heart
Your touch burns my skin
Don’t you get you’re not of my kin?
Don’t you get you’ve got no part?

Black, White And Me

Black and white…Don’t say a word,
Little stars shine down there…
From up here, so little…
Ants rush and rush… Run!
