Just Think

Poem By nisha dyrene

People find me strange and aloof
Unapproachable and stuck up
Well some of them do anyway.
Truth is I’m brilliant at covering up
My insecurities
And it seems that im stronger than I am.

I fell in love and
I don’t think ive quite gotten up as yet

These things take time I’m told

I’m the dutiful daughter
Who runs from duty
And procrastinates with procrastination
Like dust on driftwood
Drifting no where in particular
And everywhere in general

Everything is just a little beyond me
And I’m not reaching for anything as yet

Eventually I will have to
That day is nigh…

Comments about Just Think

I wouldn't say it is done out of procrastination... It is all down to knowing that whenever you discover a new path leading to your dream, the jealous ones will fallow you to knock you down and take away all your chances... What is the point in attempting to achieve anything when you know that your whole potential, enthusiasm, belief you are willing to use are going to be nailed down to the very ground... Anyone who ever has achieved something in their life had a fair satrt with the anonymousness that gave them even chances... Would your mother ever managed to sell any book if she had been kept in a show controling her life? Where would you be now, if it happened to you? Probably in the middle of nowhere...and you would be nobody...
