Killing The Female Stereotype

You think I'm weak
That all I do is twirl
In a dress
Just because I'm a girl

I can tell you now
That that's not right
I'm one girl
Who knows how to fight

I don't care if I break a nail
Or if my hair is out of place
And you'll rarely find me in the bathroom
Putting makeup on my face

I don't spend every night with my friends
Gossiping on the phone
And don't be surprised if you find me
Spending Saturday night all alone

Now you might say I'm joking
But I don't care what you think
I could kill you so many ways
Before you had time to blink

Im gonna be real here because I want you to improve you might have gotten better with writing but this poem is too straightforward and simple use figures of speech and symbolism your first part should have been your last part because it had the most impact because of just because I'm a girl I'm really just here because of an assignment and I'm no expert either I just wanted to voice this out and be of help to you
'...all I do is twirl In a dress Just because I'm a girl' thats my favorite part of the poem. I can really relate to this poem.
nice poem storm..very inspirational..more women need to come forward and go against the stereotype and just be who they are...more power to you girl.
THAT IS THE BEST POEM YOU HAVE WRITTEN.....REMINDED ME A LOT OF ME....IT WAS REALLY GOOD.....YOU MIGHT BECOME FAMOUS ONE DAY...lol.... Keep Writing
