With the generosity of martini,
Tonight I sit by dad,
As he says, 'Well done, Princess! '
And I beam with a twinge,
When I think, 'He's bloody proud of me! '
Enter mom, with a plate,
That of my fave spiced dish,
Garnished with the most content smile of hers,
Making my tastebuds bulge.
As we sip on another,
Along with my brother,
I get a pat on my shoulder,
More like a hit, when we fought together!
