Kiss

Poem By Shauna Stoltz

sitting on the couch
with your arms around me
a million things
running through my mind

I look up at you
then you look down
our eyes meet
and I can't help but smile

we turn to watch the movie
as you hold me closer
our eyes meet again
and I can't take them off you

our lips touch
and all I do is melt
the warmth from your kiss
just melts my heart

we turn and finish the movie
but all i can think about
is that sweet and warm
gentle kiss from you

thoughts going though my mind
when will I get another?
does this date have to end?
I want it to last forever

you look in my eyes
and I look back
the butterflies come back
as you kiss me again

Oh, how I never want to leave
please can I just stay here
in your loving arms?
your kiss tells me I can.

I liked this poem a lot. The ending was picture picture, like the kiss you describe. Good job! -Michael
