Kiss The Air

Poem By Jennifer Romero

Time is still;
Ever frozen for eternity’s sake.
A snapshot of pure magic,
Ever stubborn in its grasp to contain emotion.
A complex yet simple arrangement,
formulated for utter bliss.
A decoded code,
That logic alone cannot understand.
An undefined answer,
the central reason of beauty.
A rainbow’s symphony,
the melodic soundtrack to the surreal.
A celestial alignment,
grand orbs ever submissive to this vivid enchantment.
Suddenly,
The angel blinks.
The dove squawks.
The flower wilts.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Time has moved on.

A dreadful day,
One of mist and gloom,
Horror and doom.

If for our thoughts on trial we all went,
I do not hesitate one bit to believe,
Every person, from a lady to a gent,
The death penalty they would certainly receive.

Do It For The World

Poverty, hunger, racism, abuse,
