Kissing Your Hair

I dreamt of you in this fading world
Of long-abandoned dreams
Where the sea sweeps away
Every midnight star
Along with every lonely sailor’s memories.

Somewhere on a beach alone
I’ll drift into a vision
Of kissing your hair in the misty breeze
That imparts the taste of tears.

When I die in a desperate night,
My soul will cling to yours
In a spiritual unity
That will exist forever
In the melancholy universe.

I think this is my favorite poem of yours ever Uriah! you express my melancholic soul so perfectly. This poem is pure beauty in artful poetic love. Simply magnificent, smiling at you, Tai
