Kitten As Killer

Poem By Bill Grace

The outside kitten at times
Is more like a cat
Especially in this nasty business of love trophies
When bright slumped yellow refuses to play.
It is an appropriate revenge
From a God who would love us all
Who gave Jesus as a light house to predators
Towards one coming so late to a reverance for life
That my idea once of a great Spring Vacation
Was killing twenty three wood chucks.

The one who was kind
