Latenight Lullaby

I can't control the anger
Which lies so close to the surface
Yes it hurts
Yes I am still here
but that doesn't mean
that I still want to be

I slice my wrists open
And swallow a few more pills
What I do will go unnoticed
for what I say is never heard

Who would I have turned to?
No one really cares
They all just plaster on
fake smilies
fake hugs
fake hope

Is that al my life is?
Something thats just fake?
I tried to stay
Outside of the norm
Maybe thats what got me here

...and now I'm falling fast asleep.

I think the same way all too often and I know the feeling only I am too vain to put scars on myself willingly, I would love you to write a poem with a lighter theme because as sad and true it is, it is so much harder to look at the bright side
