Shadowy clouds sliding slowly across stormy skies,
by RoseAnn V. Shawiak
covering the sun, closing it's eyes above a baseball
game in Peoria.
Rain dripping haphazardly, now and then, blurring
slightly, the vision of spectator's eyes.
Gradually after several hours, letting the sun wake
for moments to shine in on the diamond.
No sparkle, or glitz, just wet grass and the sound of
the ball hitting a glove.
