From hereon after, there will be laughter.
by Jeannette Heywood
Life has a habit of making you lose your sense of humour,
with all the gossip, backbiting, innuendo and rumour.
Others analyse, criticise and constantly stress.
Reminding you endlessly, your life's in a mess.
But refrain from believing them, you're doing fine.
Respect your own judgement, don't let them malign.
Laugh more and out loud, even when all alone.
Your sense of humour, though damaged, can be re-grown.
