Shame

My sacred moments
Is not to be shared by another.
But prying eyes
Took away my pride,
I, soon to be a bride.
This monster peering eyes,
Stole my silver garment covering,
Delicate as I am
He left me exposed and naked.
To the crowd,
Insulted, oh! And shamed…
Trampled I, to the ground.

Was it jealousy?
Or treason?
You must pay the price
Of your prying eyes.
