' Lean On Me

Sure, you're tough and resilient -
able to keep your feelings
under control,
when everyone around you
is losing ground,
sliding into the abyss......

They know you will be there
to throw them a lifeline,
your strength,
your ability to protect them
will save the day,
you are their hero;

But, to what are you anchored?
What holds you fast,
makes you
impervious to self destruction
when everything else
is being destroyed?

When do you reach the limit
of your own strength,
begin to
slide into your own abyss?
And who will come
to rescue you then?

Reach out and take my hand,
my grasp is ever firm,
ever loyal -
lay your burdens on me,
I am strong for you.............
lean on me.

When do you reach the limit of your own strength, begin to slide into your own abyss? And who will come to rescue you then? yes the last limit takes start from begining.. what i heard but here your idea about the issue is really reverse of it and really heart feeling one..love the style you own..and write melodic way..exression is heart knocking and realizing type..best of luck..10/10
Is this one of those...God made Man first, because every perfect work of art requires a rough draft, first? If so...that is absolutely, unquestionably ludicrous. Of course it's true....but i'll call it lidicrous, just the same....Excellent Work Midnight! FjR
Behind every strong man lies a stronger woman, yes? Only the strongest men sometimes don't recognise their dependence.... t x
