Leaves In The Wind

I'm living
Forgetful of the world
By which I'm forgotten.
I'm living in my world
Which is full of tall grass
And not so wide
For it's my back yard.

Sitting here listening
To the whistling wind
And seeing the leaves
Being carried away
I realise
That one day
Death will come
And carry me away….
Just like that
Like the leaves in the wind.

This is a fascinating piece, Arsiema, reminiscent of the Romantics - a real piece of art. Susie xx.
Your elegy to the wind, to the leaves, and to the fragillity of human life is very touching. Lovely work, Arsiema. Kind wishes, Sandra
