Lebanon Vii

Poem By Taher Shemaly

two is equal to seven hundreds
smile O world of agony and laugh
a new math arrives over the lands
here is a new meaning for the staff

the multiplication rules of old
are now past over and over levels
after the kings comes a prince so cold
to set the children over the new hells

how can I add you might say
or how the division shall I do?
ask there, over the mounts of hay
surely the Barbaro know how to do

the cedar is crying alone in vain
lost in stories of numbers and its flow
tell me who shall rub its back again
Barbaro who made it so hollow?

but in my dreams I see that cedar
over the scorpions has the sharp stings
and the lying children along with the weather
flew over the hells of the springs

Sad And Lonely

As I started sipping
my daily lovely coffee
A race of memories just began in my mind
of old days, the hard and the easy

After You

Let the sorrow nest upon this heart
Let the sad moments take this tired mind
How horrible it is to be in senseless doubt
That can come to me from the hind

In Heaven

close your eyes
rest this heart
of those tiresom days and nights
have a smile

Can'T Get Up

in the darkness calling back
the strips of memory that are fading
my eyes full of tears, seem black
and my heart you kept awaiting

Spreaded the petals over
as I walked without a cover
and happiness couldn't catch over
my heart the one flying in Zurich

Ruins Of Babel (Babylon)

over the ruins of Babel stood I
in grief with memories visiting by
sadness and happiness are lost now
beneath these broken walls' sky
