Let It Burn

Poem By Leah Bonnett

Fire is wild and carefree
Crackling spontaneously
The relaxed look of the flames
As they dance in every direction
You watch as the flames slowly fade to embers
You throw another piece of wood in
And watch as the fire grows and shines brighter than before

Ripping all the compassion in you to ash
Making your heart heavy with hate
