Let Me Go

Please let me go
For I don’t love you, anymore
Please let me go
For I can’t bear the cruelty of your heart
I can’t endure love, anymore
I can’t endure being close to you
Please let me go
For I don’t love you, anymore

Yes, it happened that I loved you with all my senses
It happened that I had you in all my traces
In my heart, in my brain, in my poem, and in my praises
In my pen, in my papers, and in my thesis,
I had you for years and I lost you in minutes
You say that you will be hysterical
I am not afraid of your hysteria
Please let me go
For I don’t love you, anymore

Wishing that my poem would have killed me
my papers would have enshrouded and buried me
my pen would pray for me and mourn me
my mother would have killed me in the cradle
and wishing that I haven’t taken you as the ground for my madness
You say that you will be hysterical
I am not afraid of your hysteria
Please let me go
For I don’t love you, I don’t love you, I don’t love you
