Life

Poem By Shirley Campbell Horton

Time, books, people...
Some rare as a glass of aged wine
Many highly spiced with memories
Years, months, weeks
What have we gleamed in this
passage of life?
Wisdom, patience, knowledge?
Humility perhaps,
Forgiveness to set us free -
And love, that indomitable force
That sustains us in a world
Seemingly growing cold!

Listen

Can you hear the children cry?
Why you ask, oh why?
Hunger, bruises, suffering from land
to land

Gethsamne

Have you ever walked with Him to Gethsamne?
have you ever felt the loneliness there?
Have you called "Abba Father," help me!
For Father I'm really scared -
