Life In The Giant Dust Cloud

i wrote this in 8th grade for social studies when we were studying the dirty 30's i really enjoyed learning about that era

Right now there is a shining sun

but I’m waiting for the rolling cloud to come

There is a giant black cloud rolling in

This dusty era is about to begin

As I sit in my house it begins to get dark

You can not see anything, not even a spark

When I wake up, the dust is starting to settle

Then we will prepare to empty the dust from our black kettle

Now all we do is wait,

Wait in the Giant Dust Cloud for our fate
