Life It Is No Path Of Roses
Life it is no path of roses
Only a mixture of woe and joy
And long before the time of Moses
People have been known to cry.
Yesterday the sun was shining
But today dark clouds tell rain is near
Reminds one of a child repining
Before he succumb to tears.
Will future years bring joy or sorrow?
Wish to god I only knew
Only know that each tomorrow
For each of us hold something new.
Like the weather man knows many mood
Yesterday his mirthful voice did ring
And today that same man silently brood
Over a simple little thing.
This World was never meeant to be
A paradise of joyfulness
Because without the taste of misery
We would not appreciate happiness.
