Life, O Life

Poem By Maureen Alikor

If I could mutter words
to be heard by you alone
what would they be?

If I could scream one name
and it made no sense to them
what name would it be?

If could sing this song
and the lyrics unknown
which song would it be?

If I could get crazy
and you would still stick by
why would I be normal?

If I could love one man
and no one would care
who would he be?

what is hidden
