Life's Highway

Poem By Oropher Tîwele

Riding down the road in my truck.
I see you standing there on the side of the road and smiling.
I continue down the road looking in my rearview mirror at you.
I slow down and stop at the four way intersection.
I look back at you standing in the road and smiling.
Should I back up and rethink my life.
Do I wait at the intersection for you to come running to me.
Left or right for a different path in my future.
Straight as my path has been and live life to the fullest.
