Life’s Road

Life's road is a short one.
Descending to a foggy swamp,
Where poisonous snakes secretly hide,
To attack innocent creatures anytime.

Life's road is a straight one.
Going into a thick jungle,
Where wild beasts fight with each other,
In endless hot or cold wars.

Life's road is a winding one.
Leading to a sunny flower garden,
Where butterflies dance and birds sing,
In the melodious music of spring.

Life's road is a short, straight or winding one,
Depending on people's vision and actions.
Nobody can predict one's own destiny,
Like forecasting the weather night and day.
