Little Bit Of Everything Here

Poem By Black Rabbit

The sun goes up and the sun goes down.
All the little things you can find lying around.
On this great big, little place we call earth.
All the dreams that die to all the dreams we give birth.
Show us the way, with nothing to fear.
All of this and a little bit of everything here.

You find hope when you need.
If your willing to put forth the deed.
And when all is lost and nothing is left.
Makes you think of crime and of theft.
But step ahead with nothing to fear.
All of this and a little bit of everything here.

I say look ahead with a little sense of direction.
And show each other a little bit of affection.
Because who may know who you will meet.
May be life long friends no one can ever beat.
If you go forth with nothing to fear.
All of this and a little bit of everything here.

And in that day that may come.
When in luck you find someone.
With your differences you will rejoice.
Because your heart will be lost in their voice.
If you venture with nothing to fear.
All of this and a little bit of everything here.

So when the time has come
and you think about all the things you've done.
In that light you will go.
Without a studder step or so.
Because there is nothing to fear.
All of this and a little bit of everything here.

Why Do I Remember Pain?

Why do we go back to the places that cause us the most memories?
Do we do it to never forget what we were 'once apon a time'?
How much we could do, or what we could've been?
Where would we be now?

Bring Out Your Dead

Bring out your Dead! !
He yells, and they walk out carring it, the box.
The box that holds his whole world, the memories he can't share with her again.
The moments that will never be, or the time that they will never spend. Together.

Cowboys And Indians

This is an easy one for me, because when I grew up, (someday I'll grow up) I wanted to live in the time of cowboys and indians. I wanted to be a gun-slinger really bad. Pulling my twin shooters, taking down people with my hot steel and not caring who they were.
When I was young I could see myself, with my spurs and my horse, and my cowboy boots, and hat. Riding out onto the plains. Only stopping to bunk for the night. Living under the big sky and doing what I want, when I want, with who I want.
Yeah, that would be the life.... I could see it all.

Beside You All The Way

If you ever think that you’ll never beat.
All that people expect you to meet.
When you wonder what tomorrow will bring.
And you understand that you’ll never get everything.

Have You Ever Had?

Have you ever had?
Have you ever heard a story, or read a story and then couldn't remember it later?
Have you ever had a dream that you lived so vividly and then couldn't remember later in the day?
Ever had a life that you couldn't get back.

The Truth

Ok, you want the truth, here it is:

The truth is that lives get lost.
Love doesn't always pay the cost.
