Little Suzie Snowflake

Little Suzie Snowflake,
fell gently to the ground.
just like all the other snowflakes,
She thought she was safe and sound.
As more of Suzie's crystallized friends
Landed softly upon her frozen crown;
She believed her sanctuary would depend
On more snowflakes falling all around.
As snow piled high over Suzie's head,
She really felt comfortable in her frosty bed.
Then, she heard the laughter of children,
Running and tumbling, in the snow.
She sensed feelings of apprehension,
Not knowing where . . .
The children's feet would go.
