Locked In Silence

You think by your Silence
that you live within that
you keep your secrets safe,

That words from lips
are the only way of

Sadly enough you are

I hear your body speak,

I see the deep sadness
within your sunken eyes,

As you drift along the halls
of your darkness,

Your shoulders slumped,

Your head hung low thinking
somehow you are hidden from
the ghost that haunts you,

There is no blindness of
what my eyes see,

I see the shell of a lonely person
drifting within the shore of
your own creation,

And I can only hope that someday
you will break your silence,

And let your spirit free.
