Loneliness

Poem By Kimberly Keys

Convoluted feelings, jumbled thoughts
Twisted scenarios, too many doubts
A day that is missed by others uncared
A life so amiss that nothing is shared

Too many emotions ignored, passed by
Quiet abandon, too afraid to cry
The dark of night a mere glimmer of day
All consuming sadness as the soul slips away

Fear unbeknownst to the closest of friends
Terror while dreaming when will it end
A facade of endurance, much strength of will
Days slowly progressing, not a moment stands still

Let go of the longing to finalize the end
As events unfold wildly no longer can pretend
Where is the light that used to shine bright
Hiding, invisible, dimming from sight

A Life Of Confusion And Hope

God has a plan for our lives here on earth
He blessed mine completely bestowing you to me at birth
Such a beautiful little baby, I embraced you so near
My heart felt much warmth as I shed my first tear
