Lonely And Still

The surface of the water
tickles the soles of my feet
I look across the distant shore
For the one I am to meet

The wind gently blows
But there's no noise to be found
A tear pierces the silence
of the absence, of his sound

I sit alone and wait for a minute,
a month, or years
not knowing when he'll come
creates tentions and fears

The sun sets and creates a silent night
I still stay there quietly waiting
for my true love to come
As lonliness is slowly fading
