Lost Soul

Poem By Richard Stilwell

Jane had no tattoos,
No piercings,
And was colored like the leaves around her,
So she blended in,
No one could find her because,
She could not find herself,
She had been there for days and,
Traveled for days,
In the background of the crowds,
Where no one saw her,
She left no friends,
She found no friends,
And no one found her in the woods,
Until after she found herself__
Now it is too late,
Because we are too late__

even the lost can be found if you search for them. It is only time and perhaps distance that would bar such an endeavor.... haunting and beautiful poem Rick... -Eila
Hi Richard, You make me realise we are all responsible for eachothers lost souls. These lines really hit home. 'And was colored like the leaves around her, So she blended in, ' I don't know if it is a tribute because of the date, but if it is, it is a fine one with a profound message to all. 10 from Tai
