Lost Spring Sunshine

Poem By Gee Cii Schnider

Whose tear was that?
Rolling down my cheek in
The Pitch Darkness?
I lay in the
Antechamber of hell
Like an orphan,
alone in agony
I thought I had ceased
to feel fear,
ceased to weep
Never shall I forget
those absent, the friends
of yesterday
Surely it was a dream
A whisper echoed out
“Don’t lose courage,
Drive out despair,
Muster your strength”
In vain
Many had lost sight of
the Spring Sunshine
of a supposedly tomorrow.

Out there somewhere
It'll blow away the darkness
Let is bright light shine

And use it for your own

Getting up is so damn hard
Rather sleep on a pile of rocks
Than open my eyes to that same old yard

The thirst of blood
The hunger of destruction and death

The blood is our own

You make me feel so lost and alone
So I know its purposly
