The heart wounded of the scars and illness,
by Ghassan Sayegh
The mind dazzled emitting his airwaves,
The body wrecked labors in stillness,
Before me stood an alluring lost waif.
I'm tempted as I've never been before,
My dreams revived and rendered master,
I drifted into emotions galore,
Thus I met few truimphs and disasters.
With her, the love seemed servant and master,
Love and be loved defying great danger,
The heart pulses ticked faster and faster,
Yet only when swapped it makes a merger.
Then, she drove me to ultimate fury,
With love's cutting rapier's sharp edges,
Declared herself judge and jury,
And she mined the roads and blew the bridges.
