Loud

Poem By Lesten WhitePigeon

Blaring horns inpatient morning rush
Airplanes forcing there way across the sky
Deadlines broken and dreams crushed
Bosses screaming with no reason why
Thunder rumbling rattling your ear
Yet able to pick a conversation out of a crowd
Something that was never made clear
How silence could be so loud

Whipped

Is there anything that can help me let go
I’m tired of crying down this road
I’m young should I feel this old
I’m tired of being split

My Actions

Threw my actions and my evil distractions,
I fall to an infant of the world and truly
Deserve what I have earned for I am nothing,
And should be treated as such.

Run

Run feel the wind on your face
Run with your mind and let your spirit pull you along
Move your feet and join the race
For life can be summed in a song

Canvas

Blank canvas soul of the earth
Dirt turned to mud by swollen rivers an tears
Cruel pain and sacrifice for birth
Colors so vivid it blows the mind

Reality

Reality has no feelings, when it shows you the walk of life.
Rugged, embedded with truths that slice like a knife.
Sought feelings only seen threw a broken window.
Desperate hands that reach, never to get a hand full.
